What PlaySG handles
Location: only after you tap the location button. Android may provide approximate or precise foreground location, depending on your choice. Coordinates are used on your device to centre the map and sort nearby playgrounds; PlaySG does not send or store them on its server.
Local preferences: language, filters and shortlist are stored on your device. They are not tied to an account.
Reviews: on the website, a rating, optional name and optional comment are stored so the review can be displayed. First-party PlaySG reviews are not available in the Android app.
Ask Agnes: your question and recent chat context are sent through PlaySG to the Agnes AI service to produce an answer. PlaySG does not intentionally retain ordinary chat transcripts. If you report an answer, the question and answer are stored for moderation for up to 90 days.
Usage and security data: Cloudflare Web Analytics and privacy-limited Google Analytics 4 process page views, interactions, device/browser information and a pseudonymous identifier. Google signals and advertising personalisation are disabled. Cloudflare and the PlaySG server also process IP addresses for delivery, security and short-lived rate limiting.
How data is used and shared
Data is used only to operate, secure and improve PlaySG, show submitted website reviews, answer Ask Agnes questions and understand aggregate usage. It may be processed by service providers that support those functions, including Cloudflare, Google Analytics and Agnes AI. PlaySG has no ads and does not sell personal data.
Retention, security and deletion
Traffic is encrypted with HTTPS. Local preferences remain until you clear app/site data. Website reviews remain until removed or the service ends. Reported AI responses are deleted after 90 days. Service providers may retain limited operational data under their own policies. To request deletion of a review or reported response, email the address above with enough detail to locate it.
Children and changes
PlaySG is designed for parents and caregivers, not for children to use independently. If this policy changes materially, the effective date above will be updated.
