About PlaySG

PlaySG is a free live map of every playground in Singapore — 2319 of them — built by a parent in Singapore who wanted one honest answer: is this a good playground for my kid, today?

Where the data comes from

• Playgrounds: OpenStreetMap (ODbL), refreshed weekly, plus hand-curated indoor venues.
• Towns: URA Master Plan 2019 planning areas.
• Names, ratings & photos: a fixed Google Places snapshot; playground locations continue to refresh weekly from OpenStreetMap.
• Age fit, equipment, shade, themes: AI-read from real photos of each playground.
• Weather & haze: live from NEA/data.gov.sg.
• Reviews: first-party, from parents using the site.

Honest labels: live, cached and estimated data are labelled differently in the app; absence of a badge never means absence of a feature. No ads, no accounts. Cloudflare Web Analytics and privacy-limited Google Analytics provide aggregate usage trends. Google Analytics may set a first-party pseudonymous identifier; PlaySG does not send names or account details, and disables Google signals and advertising personalisation.
